Exterior post trim help

i have chrome post trims installed and I noticed the passenger side rear the top is peeling, now I don’t know if I peel off the whole piece if I won’t damage it in the process (bending it too much etc) and if I do remove it that it won’t be straight anymore..or should I try going through a warranty and get a new one sent to me

Ask for a replacement. Almost impossible to get off without bending it.had some on a f150 and one was uneven bent the he'll out of it being careful
