I have noticed the factory 6.4 Hemi the y-pipe has changed. The first picture is the stock y-pipe on my 2020 and the other is the 2025+ version.

I wonder if it improves the exhaust flow enough to warrant a change?

The thing is would a dual inlet muffler like a Magnaflow 12595 make a good way to eliminate the factory smashed up y-pipe?

The cats are in a different position (beside each vs one in front and one behind the other) than my truck’s cats too.

If you are going to be changing your muffler regardless then yes I would eliminate the Y or make the change, however you want to do it. That said if you're debating between swapping out the Y and leaving it completely stock, I don't really think I would spend the time and money. Not really sure that it's worth it on an otherwise factory set up.

Dayum looks like Ma Mopar finally saw the light and built a better Y pipe. Took them long enough though

Does it get rid of the cold start chirp-squeal the older OEM exhaust has?

Gibson also makes a dual 3” inlet and a single outlet but the outlet is 4” part # 788050s.

Magnaflow part # 12595

I don’t know I have a 2020.

I saw an exhaust video on youtube and noticed it and then saw a 2025+ in person and snapped a picture of it.
