I don't know why Rams built for use in Canada can't be tracked as easily as those below the Border
Here in the States
You place the order & instantly your Status is B1
Followed within hours, the Status becomes C
Then sometime usually within days, the Status changes to D
that means they are checking for all the parts needed to build your Ram.
When they know that the parts are all available, they change the Status to D1
D1 means they have allotted a Date & Time for the trucks Frame to be laid on the Assembly Line conveyor belt
Once that date arrives, it takes about 16 hours to build the Ram, but
if your order calls for spray in bed liner, side steps, etc. it goes to the Body Vendor.
When the body vendor is done with it, the Ram is re-inspected & sent over to Shipping
At this time it would have both a VIN Number & a Window Sticker
you can try to call Ram

enter your VIN into this site

If your Ram is a 1500 model, it is either built at Warren Michigan or Sterling Heights Michigan
Again if it was a 1500, Rams going to Toronto are loaded on a semi truck & it would be driven up to & across the Blue Water Bridge at Sarnia & dropping off vehicles along the way & then stop in Toronto
It normally would not go by freight train, unless they could not get truck drivers to haul it
I would be very surprised if your Dealership did not have an ETA
They have no control over a vehicle that is in Transit
They do know when it goes into Transit
If you ordered a Heavy Duty Ram, the process is the same
But it would take longer & it would go by Freight Train all the way to Toronto & then go buy semi truck
