Factory Remote start terrible range?

Hey all, was just wondering if anyone has had problems with the range on the factory remote start? When I got the truck it would work first try from a couple hundred feet away, but that has been dwindling steadily ever since. I've tried replacing the battery in the fobs, and that didn't help.

Any other ideas to try? It's getting bad enough that I have to be almost touching the truck for it to work now

I've been using Clarkson's technique of holding the fob against my head for more range haha. Tried holding the button longer, tried hitting it repeatedly, just doesn't seem to be working very well

Corrosion on connections from rf hub to antenna? My best guess. I have seen them only work from about 1 foot away when someone forgot to plug the antenna in!

Same here I have been wondering whats up. When I got the truck 2 clicks and start from a huge range, now I can't even use the feature on the fob. What gives?

Mine works from almost 1/4 mile away. I can sit in the tower at work and start my truck. The old lot was just under 1/4 mile, the new one is just over 1/10th of a mile.

outside or at the house it works decent but when im in work or a concrete/steel building its reduced a lot
