Factory Security Alarm

I have a '14 sport that has LSAP Security Alarm, AJB Remote Start and Security Group, and just about every other option. My buddy just bought a '13 Laramie that is similarly equipped. Both trucks were parked next to each other when a thunderstorm blew through. With every clap of thunder, his truck would make a rapid chirp. My truck remained silent. I checked the manual to be sure I did what the manual says to arm the system. Yet, no chirps from mine as his truck continued to warn the sky to leave his truck alone.

That got me concerned that my security system is not adequate or even functioning. I am not sure how you can test to verify that the system is armed.

Any feedback would be appreciated...

I have the same as you, loaded Sport. There was a massive storm the other day, my truck didn't make any nosies at all, and it was a crazy storm. I arm my truck with the key fob every time, just as the manual says to do to arm the alarm. So my truck is acting the same as yours.....

Factory alarms don't have a vibration sensor but it is sold thru Mopar accessories as an add on.

What's the mopar part number. Do you happen to know how to wire it up?

I have checked the Mopar.com site and not been able to find the sensor. Do you have an ideal of where to find it? I work in Houston. It is not a place you want to park your truck unprotected.
