With fan control knob positioned to the furthest most counter clockwise position, one detent before max AC position,
the discharge air temperature is approx 20 deg F greater than outside ambient air temperature as indicated on the center info
screen.
The fan discharge is measured with a very accurate portable digital pyometer.
The dealership service representative indicated that this condition is normal.
Seems like the discharge air temperature should equal the outside ambient temperature with temperature control knob positioned to furthest most counter clockwise position.
Noticed the air intake is below the hood in the engine compartment. With the front grill shutters shut there is no air flow through the engine compartment.
There is no way to get ambient air temperature to the air intake with shutter in closed position.
