Feeler for a 79' Hallett Jet drive Boat
Guys I need to sell my old project boat.
It's been sitting so long it is more like a barn find. It is a 1979 19' Hallett Bubble deck jet drive w/460 Ford engine. Berkly pump. I don't have pictures, but if there is interest I'll post up up pictures when i get home next month. The boat is complete and has been sitting for 10 years. I blew the gas out of the tanks and drained everything the second year it was out of use. The boat originally came with twin turbo's that were stripped when I bought it. I rebuilt the engine with a stock short block and ported heads, BB chevy rocker arms. It has a Comp 272 or 280 cam. I really don't remember. dual plane intake w/holley dbl pmp. I think this was a 850 cfm. I also have a complete tunnel ram setup w/dual 450's. The boat ran low 70's with a "B" impeller. I have some extra pump parts. The boat ran great when last run, but has sat so long it needs to be completely gone through.The boat is sitting on it's original Roadmaster dual axle trailer which i nolonger know if it is road worthy. Nothing is butchered and the hull is in original condition, just basically sitting in my car port covered up and ignored for a very long time. The hull is laminated fiberglass with full double runners. This was the top of the line low profile river jet boat from Azusa California when new. I'm really handicapped at the moment with only access to my Grand daughters notebook. I'll work anyway I can with the buyer to find the old girl a new home. Contact me or post if interested. Thanks,
