So, as some on here are aware, I have been having an ugly time with my 2012 Ram Hemi. Fuel economy in the toilet and drivability horrible.
Well here is something interesting that I found.
I had recently sent my TIPM to a shop in Toronto to be repaired, they did a great job.
Prior to sending it out, before it quit completely, I had noticed that the Long term adaptive on both the 1/1 and 2/1 LONG TERM ADAP were out in the 12970.50% range. I thought it was something wrong with my diagnostic box and was prepared to lodge a complaint with the manufacturer.
Now that the TIPM has been fixed, the long term ADAP on 1/1 is still out in the 12970% range but the 2/1 ADAP is now back in the normal range...... sitting at 0.20%
I believe there is where my fuel economy is going and despite the driveability being much improved, it is still not where it once was.
I noticed today when going up a slight grade that vacuum dropped to zero and throttle opened to slightly more than 40%. The slight grade was less than a 40 foot rise over 100 or so yards.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
