First Oil Change - When did you do it?

Just did mine with 3426 miles and six weeks of driving. Mainly to get all the break-in juices out and because my truck was manufactured and first fired up in Oct. of last year.

Used the super juice (Penzoil Utra) and the OEM filter.

I just hit over 200 miles. I was wondering should I go in at 3 or 5k for my first service. By the looks of it 3k. I have the maintenance package, so I wonder if they'll accept me before 5k miles.

At 900 miles I changed to Pennzoil Ultra synthetic 5W-20 and a factory filter.

I changed the filter the day I got it (pre-filled replacement and topped oil off).

I'll change the oil when the monitor tell me to.

I did mine at 10K miles.

Switched to valvoline cummins premium blue full synthetic. I hear it's good for 15K miles if not more, but I'll be doing my oil change every 10K miles. I use the Mopar/Cummins oil filter.

And it takes 3 gallons of oil!

Just had my first done yesterday, about 7000 miles. Oil change meter was in the red and almost telling me to change it.
