So I was messing around, thinking about future plans for the new sport.

Like I said, Just spit balling.... I'm sure I will change things up as I go along.. Just wanted some opinions.

Thanks

I really like the black crosshairs in the grille. Any plans to change the suspension? Planning to lift this one as well, or stick with more of a performance street truck stance?

What is this "red-ering" you speak of? It's already red enough. :winner_third_h4h:

1. Make the emblem black but the black background and the framing of the badge red so the Ram pops off the grille more.

2. Color match the fogs w tint to the turns.

3. Red lug nuts.

4. Definitely DeBadge but do like I did, keep the Hemi badge on the fender for a bit and see if ya like it or not.

Thanks Matt,

I am debating on suspension.. If I did any lifting it would just be a level... I think I want that street performance stance.. Can't lower it at all.. I still do some off road driving for work so basically my options are level or stock lol.

The badge will stay a dark color not a fan of flashy badges. just simple stuff.

No red lug nuts. As you can see, this truck is already WAY to damn red, lol... So if anything I will be removing red items as much as possible, not adding.

I'm still debating on badges as well... I have always hated badges and they usually are the first thing to go.... I might try something with them.

thats looks pretty good right there. I know you said no lowering, but you could just drop to back to level it. that would give u a nice street look and still plenty of ground clearance

You should buy a crew cab 2500! Silver n Grey. That'd be HAWT!

I really like the red/black look. I say go for it!

My first thought was the super long black antenna was too much. :laughing1:

If you want to really reduce red overload, do a custom paint job with black bumpers, black fender flares and black lower body panels like the outdoorsman. But rather than do an identical copy, add a curved transition from the fender flares to the lower body panel.

Either way, your changes do make it look a lot better.

I kinda like the big antenna, lol!

Not looking to do a huge change in paint.. I might do something with the hood but really don't want to do the rockers or flares.

Cool truck.
If you're going to black out the wheels and grill, you need the sport hood stripes too!

I did the same thing working up different stripes and graphics. I thing I've found out about this forum is you'll get plenty or advise on how your truck should look. Some pretty killer, and some.... Not so much.
Your starting off with a pretty bad ass truck, I can't wait to see what you do with her.

I have thought about the stripes. I have never been a huge fan of the racing stripes. If I do anything with the hood I would have it repainted with some type of design.. I could do the all black hood and roof....... Hummmmm :D

I have always been a "less is more" type... Even with the 2500.. I try and change the little things that to some make a big difference.. I don't like having a 'Flashy" truck.. I can't wait to really start working on this truck.

I like the idea of those changes they would look good.

Thanks buddy!

I like the blackout fog lights, you don't want to do the headlights to match?

Yes. I want to get rid of that chrome ring in the headlights. I think they should have came all black on the sports.

:insane:

That's funny, I was just thinking how much I hate the blacked out grill. lol
I do agree that if he goes ahead and blacks out rims/grill he would be a step ahead doing the hood stripes.

Beauty really IS in the eye of the beholder.
