First time rebuilding a engine in tech school

This engine is my first engine I am going to tear down and rebuild. It is a 1985 dodge 318. I'm not sure on the year, but I know it's a 318.

What does the tech school do with them afterward?

I bet they put it in storage for another student who wants to do a Chrysler motor.

I did the same thing in high school auto tech, it was motor that we brought in and rebuilt, It ended up powering a 1986 Dodge Dakota. It was a fun project. We got to use all the tools at school to do it.

Have fun, best part is hearing it run afterwards.

Good on you!! I remember those days..... Just keep in mind that when you are done tech school, you are no expert. What you will be is a guy with a ticket to learn, and that learning goes on over your lifetime. Use that ticket wisely.
