Flashlogic flrsch7 remote starter install help

I bought the flashlogic remote starter last year got no help so hopping somebody now how to do it
I have read the instructions so many times
I think I got part of it figured out but instructions suck
Plug into the OBD
Plug into parking light switch
Now it says drivers kick panel (no clue to what wire) Rap shut down
Then a hood switch ( we're that goes ) I would guess to
Hood but not much wire to do that

Search web and nothing out there this sucks

I was going to install the flashlogic on my 2014 but it wasn't completely "plug n play" so I got the Dball2 instead. I did have the flashlogic on my challenger and it was "plug n play". You don't have to hook up to the parking lights or install the hood pin switch. I didn't on either of my vehicles.

right on page 7 of the instructions for flashlogic, your looking for a purple wire in the drivers kick panel to tap into for rap shutdown. you dont need to tap into this for the remote start to work, but the function is there so i would use it. same goes for the parking lights and hood pin. i like the parking lights though. if you choose to connect the hood pin, i believe there is a wire that goes into the BCM for this.

I made calls to flashlogic but they say if not a dealer they dont give help
but 2 people nice to help on was a supervisor
2013 ram have to use type 2 wiring diagram page 7 lets you know wires in the truck you connect to -page 8 tells you what wire off box you are using- pages 9- 10 gives step by step instructions to program box in the truck page 18 info if you want to reset it if you made a mistake

you will need the wire to program it (flash) and there is an update to do after you follow steps on page 9 once again wire needed

you must long into flashlogic and make an account to flash it
login agian to get the updates Flashlogic - Bypass Module must use internet explorer

using explorer and warning comes up
click 3 dots on top right
select internet explorer from drop down
type Flashlogic - Bypass Module
click proceed bottom right then update will start
instructions will say discounect
then plug back into truck and follow step by step page 9-10

i was told only need to use 2 sets of wires
but the truck will not shut down unless it hit the lock button 3 times now what
hope this makes sense not an english major

Yes, you have to have the special little USB cord that always you to program it with your computer.

My Flashlogic on my challenger will shut off after 15 minutes or if you press the "lock" button on the remote 3 times.... same as if you wanted to start it.

Here's the remote start I put on my 2014 Ram...... It's a lot less hassle.

If I turn the key it shuts her system down

No, that only when it's remote start/stop with the key fob.... if you have put the key in and turned it to "on" and touched the brake pedal then when you turn the key "off" it should turn the truck off.

Well this is getting stupid now
If I hit the brake it does shuts down
then I must restart the truck with key to drive it
So hit the brake to put in drive kills the motor

thats exactly how its supposed to function, otherwise anybody could steal your car after you remote start it.

turn the key to the on position before you hit the brake.
