Flowmaster super 44

Hey guys
Just got a flowmaster super 44 series muffler installed on my truck yesterday and man am i disappointed. i thought it was going to be much louder then what it is. My wife didn't even hear me pull in this morning when i got home. Does anyone have experience with this muffler and can recommend anything? I did have the resonator deleted also.

My Flowmaster American Thunder 50 Series is loud & deep. I'd think a 44 would be even louder.

Add 5" tips, that'll make it better.
FWIW I left my resonators on and it still roars.

I thought it would be louder too. It is a single exhaust. would that make a difference?

Some difference with a single but it should still be louder & deeper than stock.
A 5" tip will help some.
I would've put an Outlaw on a single though.

44 is not that loud, get the 10 for more loudness. If you want more than that then get Spintech or Black widow mufflers for more aggression. They flow better than the chambered Flowmasters too. I have the BW 250 and its loud without been obnoxious. Definitely my wife can hear when I pull over in the driveway. I have the factory resonator in place and I have loudness without drone.

I can only recommend a cut out, but you already spent good money.

You can from gentleman to hillbilly and back to gentleman whenever you like.

Go with the single chamber 10 series if you want to keep it with flowmaster sound. Gibson mwa, powerstick, or black widow widowmaker are also good based on experience. 18 inch glasspack is cheap and effective too.

Thinking about going with the super 10 series. does anyone have experience with this exhaust? Does it drone? I have the resonator removed.
