Just curious if anyone knows how to get the fog lights to stay on when you switch to high beams for a 14. Wiring or programing?

never heard of that law but so be it. Not like anyone is around when your using high beams unless your a *******. So i'm not quite sure why that would even be a law.

im sure i could simply wire a relay to the high beam

Jeremy at Retroshop sells a harness that will allow it to happen. The other option is a programmer.

Wiring. JJ, through The Retrofit Source, offers a foglight correctional splitter harness that, along with a HID kit with relay harness, will allow you to run the fogs with the high beams on.

I'm gonna give it a try on mine.

I used a relay triggered by high beam circuit... but I also have dual output fog lights.

Most states do have laws against it and have to do with the wattage of lights and number of lights on. you can have as many lights as you want mounted but only 4 may be uncovered here in Cali and under 55watt.

Not sure they they still sell them but stylintrucks.com used to sell kits for older dodges and checvys, they may still have something

Believe it or not, The law in Alaska only states how bright they must be...

When a motor vehicle is driven on a highway during the times specified in sec. 10 of this chapter, the driver shall use a high distribution of light or composite beam, directed at a height and of sufficient intensity to reveal persons and vehicles at a distance of 450 feet in advance of the vehicle for all load conditions, subject to the following requirements and limitations:

No problem...

I found a kit online, basically a relay that taps into the high beams and plugs into the fogs. I'm gonna install it this weekend sometime, I just don't feel like pulling the grill out to remove the head lights. Damn Chrysler engineers!
