Folding mirror's

I have a 2019 1500 Classic Tradesman, I went and got tow mirrors and put them on. Now I need to program them to fold in & out, turn on the turn lights. I need help.

Did your truck have folding mirrors before you installed the tow mirrors? If not you’ll also need the corresponding power window switch that has the fold switch built in.

Are the tow mirrors you installed capable of the power fold option? Without the folding motor inside the mirror housing the option is not available.

Do you have AlfaOBD to do the programming?

And if it didn't come with them, you'll also need new door modules - do a search for folding mirrors, there's probably over 200 threads that explain it and\or have part numbers.

No, it did not have folding mirrors before, but the new tow mirrors have the moter in them.

I installed the new corresponding power window switch.

I will have to get the new door modules.

I will need some advice on what AlfaOBD to buy, I would like to get a good one.

Most people use AlfaOBD on their Android phone or tablet, there is also a Windows version but nothing for Apple (iOS).
As for the OBD module, the developers recommend the OBDLink MX+ (or MX).

Reading a lot of the treads on door modules for folding mirrors, parts numbers, my head is spinning. I have a 2019 Classic 1500. Does all the Rams with folding mirrors use the same module? Is there a parts number list somewhere that I can look it up? I need help.

Literally have an OBDLink MX+ in my RAM right now. But you have to have the KaodTech SGW bypass cable (Security Gateway) if it's an '18 or newer.

I'd recommend you check with Benny at all mopar parts. Most used modules are non power folding. Usually the upgrade is to power folding
