Fried Radio?.....

We'll two speaker wires were touching while I was working on installing speakers so around the head unit smoked pretty bad. Ran to the other side to fix the speaker wire because it was out of my reach turned the truck on and nothing from the radio at all everything else in the dash works fine. I have a after market headunit but no harness yet, it's on its way, so I cannot test anything so I'm bumming.......

Just thought I should share this. Why wouldn't the fuse pop??

Doesn't take much amps to fry an internal amp. Glad you didn't start a fire gotta unhook the battery next time

Ha I know. Always do usually but was just doing a quick fix and this happened lol.

So I am hoping to plug the aftermarket in and be good to go......
