We'll two speaker wires were touching while I was working on installing speakers so around the head unit smoked pretty bad. Ran to the other side to fix the speaker wire because it was out of my reach :suicide: turned the truck on and nothing from the radio at all everything else in the dash works fine. I have a after market headunit but no harness yet, it's on its way, so I cannot test anything so I'm bumming.......

Just thought I should share this. Why wouldn't the fuse pop??

Doesn't take much amps to fry an internal amp. Glad you didn't start a fire gotta unhook the battery next time ;)

Ha I know. Always do usually but was just doing a quick fix and this happened lol.

So I am hoping to plug the aftermarket in and be good to go......
