Ebay it man. I just about went the route you are talking. I've got a '10 big horn and I'm eliminating the chrome piece by piece. Only thing remaining are my door handles, side steps, and both bumpers. One of the assistant managers from the lot I bought mine at also has a hot rod shop he runs that powder coats and sprays bed liners. I used their bays to remove my bumpers and steps, then sat down to talk about what I wanted. The more we looked at it, the more we both thought that the sport bumpers would be alot better to adhere paint to and then just sell mine. Ebay had both bumpers shipped for just under $600. Bonus is the lot bought all my chrome to upgrade on a trade-in '10 1500. Sold rims/tires for 750.00 and the bumpers/side steps for 900.00. I'm not painting mine, but having them sprayed with a finer version of my bedliner in black. As much as I offroad when hunting I knew I'd scratch even powder coating eventually. Good luck!
