I want to get my front bumper repainted and a quote I got from 1 place was 350. I can get a brand new one not painted for 179 and I asked the guy if it would be cheaper for me to get the new one and he said no. So what do you guys think of 350 to have my front bumper repainted? And I just found some small rust specks on my rear bumper also so now I might to do both

I paid $250 for front and rear bumpers and a grill.

For the prep and materials and labor for two stage paint for $350 you better jump on it. My painter won't even take his gun off the wall for less than 150.

Just had my front bumper repainted. Cost me $450. That was me dropping off the bumper and reinstalling it myself.

I used to paint for a living. $400 is about what you'll find a shop to charge.

My cost going to a jobber and doing it myself.
Half of a pint of paint $80
Reducer $20
Quart of clear $40
Hardener $20

That is just for supplies. Not including sand paper, primer, primer hardener.. Cleaning materials, and time... So you can see why it adds up so fast.

I paid $250 as well for front, rear and they said they would throw in my step bars with the price, but I didn't have them ready for paint day.. $350 sounds high for just one bumper.
