Ive seen this style of front bumper and really like the looks of it. What is this type of bumper called? I would like to get this as a future mod for my truck.

Would this just install over my OEM chrome bumper (painted to match of course) and buy the chrome insert ?

I'm supposed to be buying a front bumper and hood from a guy, who has a dodge ram sport (I think its a 98 also) to put on my dodge ram 1500 Laramie but i need to know it will fit before I go buy it.

A 98 on a 3rd gen? No.
