I'm trying to narrow down the noise in my front end. Dealer thinks it's the transfer case. I think axle. It only does it in 2wd. I'm going to remove the front driveshaft and go for a ride. Took a quick look under it, do I have to remove the crossmember under the t case to get to the bolts?

It is possible to remove it without removing the crossmember, but it could be a major PITA job either way.
