Front end help needed.....

I have a 1997 1500 4x4 with 318 and running 265/75R16 tires. Lately, I been hearing clicking noise when I turn left or right, like what bad cv joints sounds like. I know this truck dont have cv joints but I dont know what or where to look to find the problem.

Def u joints. I need them too. But it only makes a noise when it's raining for some reason. Not a hard job just didn't replace them when I had my front end torn apart. Hoping to get them done before the snow flies

what size spline socket it that on the back of the hub? Any any special tools needed for the job? Oh, the front driver 's u-joint has a lot of play in it while the front left has none. Also, what size is the axle nut?

with mine i took my tire off then took it down to the hub and axle and slid the whole thing out and took it to napa and got them to press it in
