Front Map/Dome Light Idea

I have read and seen on here that some of wished we had the overhead console or more dome lights..I was wondering if this is the solution..if not already attempted... Amazon.com: **** 36000 10" Day/Night Mirror w/Map Lights: Automotive ,all, well most of our trucks have the wires up under headliner to tap into...wonder if it will work..?

It should work. Rear view mirror are mounted the same way, and as you said, there should be power under the head liner, its just a matter of actually taking the headliner part way down to confirm and pull/splice into the wires for power. If you want to make sure before you order the mirror, pull the headliner and leave the wires out, then order the mirror and mount/connect when you get it. Should only take about an hour or two all together.

looks like our Rams have a weird round mount? twist and turn to remove mirror..hmm..may not work after all
