Hello...just bought a 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 Classic Warlock. Started it up today and the fuel gauge went to way below the F mark to about 4 0clock. I shut it down and restarted and it went below the F to about 2 oclock. It also makes a clicking noise on shut down and bounces a little bit. Anyone know what's wrong and what I need to do to fix? I've literally had the truck for a week. It has 26000 miles on it. Thank you

It is not uncommon, the sensor is attached to the fuel pump & the “part” that reads fuel level wears out.
I replaced mine around 55k, went ahead & did fuel pump at the same time, one of those might as well since your there situations.
I believe you can just change the sensor but do a search on the forum & you’ll find the answers you need from members that are more knowledgeable than me.
You access the pump from the top of the gas tank, some people remove the bed, my mechanic dropped the tank to fix didn’t seem to bad but he makes everything look easy.
Good luck with your repair, please update the forum with fix.
