Need help finding the correct size for fuel lines. Was wire wheeling the rust off to get ready for some.paint. accidently nicked a line lol it sucks it.really looks like I needed to replace one fuel line . Only if I had nicked the one I was gonna replac lol . But anyways I need to replace 2 lines . I'm not sure of the sizes I need for these two. I saw a diagram that said one of them was 1/4 and 5/16 . Can someone confirm that these are the two sizes I need ?

Two of the lines are larger than the other - the supply and return lines - and the thinner one is the evap vapor line. When I worked on my fuel lines I bought BOTH sizes and took the size back that I didn't need. I seem to remember 1/4" being the diameter, BUT although this usually means the I/D , some of the lines were specified in O/D. From the tech info I have the lines are specified as 3/16 O/D (vapor) and 1/4 O/D (fuel) BUT the original lines may have been replaced at some point in the past with others and I wouldn't trust those sizes.

Just a thought - could you put some rubber fuel hose over the damaged section and clamp it in place? It's not under high pressure like the brake system is, especially the return line. The evap line is easily fixed using some hose - it's not critical to the fuel supply to the motor anyway. I've removed most of the evap system now my B250 qualifies as a vintage vehicle

Here's the diagram I have for my 1991 van:

It's not a great deal of help. I got a couple of sizes of copper pipe from my local hardware store and used the size that fit best
