2004 1500 5.7L Quad Cab 2WD. Long crank times (roughly 10 seconds before it fires). I can cycle the key on and off 3 or 4 times and then it will fire right up. Fuel pressure tester shows, when I am cycling the key on and off, the pressure will get to about 10 psi on the first key cycle but it rapidly drops to nothing. On the second key cycle the pressure will build to around 20 psi and then drop off to nothing. On the third key cycle the pressure will get to about 40 psi, at which point I can start the engine but if I don't the pressure goes right back down to nothing. Once it's running it holds steady between 50psi and 60psi. The fuel pump quit about 10 months ago and was replaced with an O'Reilly Auto Parts unit, not sure of the brand. Am I looking at another fuel pump replacement? I think I read that the fuel filter and pressure regulator are part of the fuel pump assembly and cannot be replaced individually, is that correct?
