I have read of the problems with the fuel nozzle sticking, and I find it annoying, but not damaging by any means. But lately, I have not been able to open the fuel nozzle more than a little without it kicking off every few seconds. I have tried sticking it farther in, and leaving it out a little more than I usually would. Same situation. Fuel up at different pumps and stations, so it's not the pump. I didn't have this the first few months, only noticed it the last couple of weeks. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas as to a solution? If no, I will ask the dealer next oil change in a few weeks. Thanks for any feedback.

Both my Dakota and the Ram needed for me to leave the nozzle most of the way out or I'd have to keep it at half speed at best.

There is a clogged vent in your line. Have your dealer fix under warranty.

I just had that happen today for the first time. Both the OP and I have 2018 models. I just got mine in June. Why would a vent/filter clog so quickly?

the fill tube has been documented to be twisted

quite often, you can also ask dealer to check that during checking the venting
