My truck is 99 ram,3.9l...150....it came without a tach...will cluster with tach work? Thank you.....

Yes It will but your mileage will be what was last stored on the cluster as the mileage is stored on both the cluster and the PCM. If you have no intention in selling the truck than it shouldn't matter just make a note of how far the mileage is off. Other than that the cluster is plug and play.
