Getting Deep Cherry Red to POP

Most new vehicles need at least polished.
The dealer detailers pretty much just install swirls.
That's about all most of them are good for.

So you would use the machine cut polish on a new vehicle for the gloss?

Most new dealer vehicles have a lot of fillers and such slapped onto them so they look super pretty for take home. However in a couple weeks time, that stuff washes off, and the new car owner is left with less than desirable paint.

From my experience, new vehicles need at least a good claybar and polish. I did a new vehicle prep on a brand new SRT8 Jeep last year, and spent over 14 hours correcting the paint.

I would check out the Menzerna 4500 finish (non cut) polish, or Optimum Finish polish, followed by Optimum Opti Seal, followed by Chemical guys Lava wax. I would always reach for 845, but on the Cherry paint work Lava makes the pearl pop. Of course all this assuming you already clayed the paintwork prior.

Might seem like a lot of $$$, but you use way less product and achieve way better results.
