Going to test drive a 2023

Good morning. I am jumping from a Gen 3 to Gen 5. Next week I will test drive a 2023 Ram Bighorn Sport, w/V6, 3.6L. It's a Carmax car and has 11K miles and is under $40K. It is being shipped to my location and I will test drive it next week. I have been looking at similar trucks (Ram, Ford and Chevy) for six months and noticed the Rams are a bit cheaper for like trim & engine packages and this one seems like an especially good deal. Makes me wonder why it is so much less than the Fords and Chevys. Here's hoping it makes it thru shipping and turns out to be as advertised. Thanks

You don't give a lot of information on the options and what cab is. If it's highly optioned and a crew cab with that mileage, under $40,000 may be a good starting start for negotiation.

That's fine with me, I was first going to buy a car anyway, so this is a big bonus. LOL.

It's got Etorque. That was 100% a no deal for me looking for a truck last year when I got mine.

Don't get me wrong, there are lots of guys here with Etorque that have had no problems. But there are also a lot of guys here that have had problems with Etorque.

My advise, look for a 2022 with low miles and no Etorque. That's the last year that Etorque was an option.

Took me a few months to find my 2022 with low miles and they are only getting harder to find.

Not sure why it's so much cheaper than other brands. They definitely have nicer options for the price.
