Truck arrived early so I made the trip to Phoenix Thursday night. After the typical bs and 4 hours of waiting for dealership incompetence to unfuck itself and sort out my trade etc I turned around and made the very uncomfortable 400 mile trip home on tires with 67 psi in them. Can’t believe I forgot to bring my indeflate. So dumb.

The trade in...

All in all, not a bad trip. Looking forward to enhancing this beast of a truck.

Haha awesome man congrats on the upgrade and welcome to the dark side!

Not knocking Tacomas, definitely an awesome mid-size truck.

PW is just on another level.

The taco in TRD Pro trim is an epic little rally machine. Bought it for my ex's daughter to use when she turned 16 but that's not a thing anymore. Had kept it as my built 200 series Land Cruiser is kinda ridiculous to run errands with, but after a year of that nonsense I decided I could consolidate by trading the taco, building a PW and then selling the LC. We'll see how it works out.

I bought a RZR as a “happy divorce to me” gift! I t didn’t fit on the deck of my pop-up, bought a toyhauler! Too much for the Tacoma!

The PowerWagon was my choice!

The 2 trees in your photo look like those 2 trees in the left background of my photo. You were closer to the river.

BTW, if you didn't know there were 663,000 acres of wilderness areas approved by the President in March 2019 for that area. I believe 17 wilderness areas, not studies. Some of the narrow strips of dirt road are just that with no mechanized travel on both sides. Lots of new signs and "travel prohibited beyond this point" stakes were put into place this year.

Congrats on the purchase.
If you're interested in having 2 power wagons in your driveway, let me know: I'll trade you my 2015 for the LC...haha. I'm actually considering the opposite of what you've done moving to a smaller platform, but I haven't made my mind up. Regardless, enjoy the power wagon.

That ‘13 Cruiser with 130k miles is worth more than the brand new PW. Gets worse gas mileage too.

Yes, there's a blog of several vehicles camped clearly out on the roadless flat terrain not far from Swasey's Cabin. The vehicles are parked all over the sage brush. It's dated 2011. Just a few ruin it for the rest of us. The Wilderness forever closes it off for basically anything mechanized including bicycles. I haven't seen any hikers out there ever.
