Grill help please!

I took my grill off to plasti dip it. No problem. I have the black honeycomb grill inserts, which I really like. They seems to be held in with clips of some sort. How do I get them out so I can put them back correctly.

The inserts are held in with a push style locker. If memory serves me correct get a straight pick or very narrow screw driver and push the center through the keeper then the outside of the keeper will pop up and out.

this. I used a smacll phillips head screw driver and then taped them out

Used a very small Phillips screwdriver. Worked great! Will the go back together as easy? I have washed the grill well, and am going to scrub it with alcohol. It will be black in a few hours.

it will be easier than taking it apart, as long as you didnt break any....

dont mean to hijack an old thread, but does anyone know where to get the little plastic mounting clips, i broke mine after i hit a log
