Grill Shudders

Ok, new here, first post. Ram 2019 hemi with the active grill shudders. I want to disable them. Summer in New Jersey is hot right now. If I pull the fuse out will that keep the shudders open all the time, that's what I want. Keep engine cooler. Let me know what you think or do you have better idea. Thank you....

I pulled mine out and mounted the little electric motor onto the bar on the drivers side of the radiator. I then took an old license plate and mounted it in front of the motor to keep the bugs off the the little motor. It fools the computer and no check engine lights.

What you need to do so you DO NOT TRIP THE 0128 ERROR CODE is remove the grill all the way down to the electric grill remove all but the top, middle and bottom. keeps everything operating and it’ll keep the error code off. But it won’t keep it cooler. Lower you termostat to 185, if you have a programmer, I use Diablo Sport to improve performance, all the way down to 160. Hope it helps.

Think you missed then point. He removed the entire shutter assy, as many here have, and modified the motor to allow it to keep operating as if the shutter were still there, so the ECM won't toss a code.

Two different methods of doing different forms of shutter delete. Same basic results.

I completely removed the assy in my truck because it improves air flow to the Vararam intake.
