Hardwiring

I bought a 60 inch led brake light bar. I was debating on having it hard wired in. Kind of nervous at the thought of splicing into the tow harness. I'm worried later on water or something like that will mess the harness up. Yalls thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I wire many things into the tow harness.Main thing to do is do it right.Solder connections and water proof them and you should have no problems.

You could always buy a 4 plug tow harness, wire your light into that harness and plug that harness straight into your tow receptacle.
