Hi everybody. I swapped out the old wobbling harmonic balancer in my 87 w250 with the 360la. After install, the metal collar that sits behind it is spinning and making one heck of a racket. Before I pull this apart again what did I do wrong? My first two guesses are backwards and/or not torqued down enough. I have the fat end of the collar toward the engine, I think that's how it was when I took it off. My manual has nothing about changing them that I found (chiton manual) so I just tightened until tight. Any help to make the second time the last for pulling the damper would be great.
