Has anyone fit the Panamera 2.0 Shroud into Quad Low Beams?

Im building another set of Ram Quad headlights and i know from experience that almost all of the "full size 3" shrouds have to be cut at the top and bottom to fit into the low beam buckets of the quads.

I wanted to know if any of your DIY Retrofitters or even anyone who had a custom set built has been able to fit the Panamera 2.0 3" projectors into the low beam spot of the quads. Im worried that too much will have to be trimmed off of the top and bottom of the shroud and I will have to "trim" into the LED part of the shroud.

There seems to be almost no room at all to trim above and below the clear lens for the led strips.

I tried image search on google but found nothing.

So has anyone succesfully been able to mount these inside the quads? Retrofitting the Duals is not an option.

These are Gatling Gun 1.0's that I trimmed for my Mini D2S light build. They're pretty large for the low beam reflector. I'm ordering another set of these to "clean up" my build. The first picture is the top of the shroud where I used a 6inch 80grit sanding disc on a disc/belt sander combo and the second picture is the bottom of the shroud. I took too much off the forward part of the shroud where I "circled". I don't know how much the Panamera you want to show, but it looks like you might loose some of the middle between the little "windows" along the outside that would work.

I don't know if this helps you out, but this is what I did.

My question is specifically for the Panamera 2.0 shrouds pictured in the first post. Thanks for your reply, if i had never done a retrofit before your reply would have been very helpful. Thanks.

OK, I didn't see the LED ring in there....my bad. Yeah, I got nothing...thanks for the reply on the other thread. I'm getting another set of Gatlings to work on. I just call this my practice set.

I did the g37 with a 110mm halo. Just trimmed the top of the g37 shroud and the bottom of both headlights shrouds. Those panamera shrouds are actually in my cart now.

So you cut the actual lowbeam bucket of the headlight to allow the lower part of the shroud to go "into" the low beam bucket of the headlight?

I'm trying to figure out how you did it because I cut the minimal amount off the Apollo 3.0's to allow them to fit, and the Panamera are (I can't remember exactly) I think 10mm bigger so I know more will need to be cut than on the Apollo's.

I have a spare set of OEM quads sitting under my work bench that are junk, I'm going to mess around with them and see what I can do because I have a whole new retrofit setup I just bought on Black Friday with mini d2s projectors, hid kit, Apollo 2.0 shrouds, demon eyes, etc, so I want to see if I can make the Panameras work and if I can then I'll order them and keep the Apollo 2's I just ordered for a different set.

Lol I ordered 4 g37r shrouds for my first quad build thinking I could use them in the highs and lows, boy was I wrong. I even had to warranty claim 2 of them for finish imperfections so TRS sent me 2 more so I now have 6 G37R shrouds just sitting in a box waiting to be used on a build lol.

Not sure if u can see in this picture but I trimmed both the headlight bezels. I only trimmed the top of the g37 shroud. The bottom of the outside headlight bezels was the hardest. That was the most visible cut.49cd4b09eea142938755428d3af336f2.jpg
