Any R/T guys used the factory Tokico shocks on the front of their 2" drop? I just did the BT 2"/4" with their SP shocks. Although it rides nicely on smooth roads there isn't enough rebound in their shocks on the rough stuff, especially woth heavy 22" wheels.

I'm going to switch back and see if there is an improvement.

Same here. Are our factory shocks different than a non R/T?

I believe they are. They are made by Tokico and were the same length as the shocks I got from Belltec.

I would think the regular front's would have to be longer.

Ok, so I switched back to the factory R/T, (Tokico), front shocks and it is a much better ride. The R/T shocks control the wheel and tire better over the smal bumps in the road, where the BT shocks would allow the wheels to bounce like a basketball.

Also, there seems to be more rebound control so the truck doesn't feel like it is "floating" back and forth like a boat sitting in the water when there are waves. It felt like the BT shocks couldn't keep the truck flat, one shock would go down and it would cause the whole truck to teeter back and forth, side to side.

Anyway, definately better !!!

Good to hear. I was looking at this same option, when I finally get mine. Have any pictures? Notice any rubbing issues with/without a load in the back? Tried towing anything with results?

Which BT shocks were you using. The ND's or SP's?

I haven't towed or loaded anything in the bed that weighed anything. I also put the Durango air bags in it so I doubt I will have a problem.

the only rubbing I get is front driver side inner wheel well lining at full turns, I'm sure I can move it but it very rarely happens.

I'll get some pics.

I had the Street Performance, still have them on the rear. They were good as long as the road was smooth, can't really ask for anything more since they are a generic shock that they use on ALL trucks. I would not say the Tokico's are great, but they are way better than the SP's. I will be going to something custom soon.
