Are they really that far behind? Back when I ordered mine they had a 6-8 week lead time. There used to be a guy on another forum (I think it's dodgeforum) that worked at FCA that could give you build updates. He could tell you when it hit the line, when it's going into paint, ect. It made the wait a little more tolerable. You will also get a window sticker with your name on it. If you got a great deal like I did, it's nice to have a truck with everything you want on it.

Dealer said 10-12 weeks, another dealer said 12-16 weeks. Yikes!

Back in may I was told a 3 month wait to build one. I was lucky and found exactly what I wanted at an out of state dealer.

When the wheels fall off this one in like 10 years or longer I'll order a mega cab with a manual transfer assuming we arent all floating in space. I wonder what the import tax would be to bring a power wagon to a terraformed planet?

It was all of 12 weeks for my factory order. Well worth the wait

Ordered my 2020 2500 Mega Cab on November 22nd. Was told then it would be mid January to mid February before I saw it. I did call about a week ago and talked to my dealer. Got my VIN and was told estimated build completion was December 15th. He claims most of the wait is crossing the border and getting shipped up north. Guess we'll wait and see.

I too went with the 6.4 & 4.10's. Gonna be a big change coming from the 6.7 but I think it will do fine. My camper is only about 10k loaded and we only do a handful of trips in the summer. Other than that it's a DD.

That is true... took almost as long to get it here as it did for it to get on the line & built.

You'll love the additional space of a mega cab. Watch those turns though...there's a slight learning curve as the turning radius is a little wider.

Had an '06 Mega Cab w/ 5.7 (where my user name came from) before I traded for my Crew Cab Cummins. That's why I'm going back to the Mega Cab. Miss the extra space for inside storage. Need to get all the extra "stuff" off the back seat and floor.

Got the call yesterday. Of coarse my truck is in the body shop. Guess the waiting game is still on for now.

Awesome man! Probably just detailing it for you. They should be able to give it to you tonight or tomorrow.

No, unfortunately the truck I’m trading in is in the body shop. Hit a deer 2 days after I ordered this truck. Had a feeling it was going to come in before mine got fixed.

Sounds like you have my kind of luck. Looks can be deceiving but the damage doesn't look too bad. How much did the damages add up to be?

Initial estimate was about $1,600. Haven't heard what they found after tearing into it. Adjuster did a pretty lazy job of the first estimate. Knowing everything behind the headlight was shattered he didn't list anything for parts. Didn't even include the obviously broken signal light bulb.

One thing I do not like about the new 2500's is they have the shark fin on one side & the XM Radio pad on the other. I personally wish they would have the shark fin centered in the back. I have heard they put it up front for people who put campers in the bed but how many people really do that these days? Probably something like .03%
