my 17 1500 Dodge ram Crew cab 4x4 has a leveling kit and I noticed when I put heavy loads in the bed sometimes depending on how much weight I'm putting in kind of goes nose high. So I was looking at replacing the rearsprings with something alittle better and the Super Coil and Tuff Truck spring is what I'm debating. My question is the Super coil lifts the rear about 3/4 of an inch and they say the TT spring leaves it stock height. I don't mind a little rake nothing major so I was wondering which spring would work the best. My beds not loaded at all times either if that makes a difference.

I have the TT 1211s and am happy with them.
the 1223s will give a ride height change.

I just put on the TT1211's with TGC 3/4" spacers and my front bills are at 2.1". I have just about 2" of rake empty and ~900lbs of tongue weight without a WDH pretty much sits level. While I would never tow with that heavy a tongue weight any sort of highway distance without a WDH/sway bars on a 1500, I did that as quick way to see what kind of squat I could expect worse case. Before the install just a few hundred pounds in the bed or a lightly loaded utility trailer was enough to put me nose high. The other plus is it rides like a truck now and the rear end doesn't get nearly as squirrelly over uneven county roads at speed unloaded.

LOL, I did and ordered the Timber Grove air bags.. :)

no squat since.

Timber Grove bags were going to be my next step, but I really wanted to avoid the bags hence the 3/4" spacer. If I hadn't added the spacer I would've needed bags to keep my personal worst case load from going nose high (If I really need to tow I'll just swap trucks with the old man for a day and use his 2500). I have nothing against using bags, but I've always had the KISS approach to things so anything I try to avoid anything I have to actively adjust. That being said if I ever move my front bills to 2.8 then I'll more than likely suck it up and get the Timber Grove's with an onboard compressor.
