Looking to add a headache rack to the ram. been browsing and haven't really seen anything that looks half decent.

What im looking for is something that wont block the rear camera. Possibly lighting on it, or ability to add lights later. Something to protect my rear window from my stupidity. Looks decent. possibly flush to the top of the cab.

any suggestions?

I'm not sure with the rear camera...all the one's I've seen pretty much cover up the 5th light, which is where the cameras are normally.

I saw the Magnum brand on CarID, they look pretty durable, but probably more utilitarian than decorative/half-decent. Is it possible to move the camera?

the Magnums are $$$$$$$$$$$ lol. they look good though. as far as moving the camera, doubt it as its built into the 3rd light housing i believe. id have to look.

Backrack makes (used to make?) one that was 'notched out' for the 3rd brake light/camera. No personal experience with it though. Looked into it for my last truck, decided not to bite the bullet, and probably won't for this truck either.

I really like mine made from Highway Products. My truck is a 3500 but I ordered the one for the 1500 and it fits flush with the cab. I pull a 5th wheel & if I would happen to turn too sharp it will hit it before it hits my cab & pops the back window out. Plus I eventually want to add lights to mine as well. Good ones are not cheap though. You get a cheap one & thats what it's going to look like in 3 or 4 years... cheap & rusted. Last one I had was a different brand & at the 3 year mark I was sanding it & coating it with bed liner. I got one with the honeycomb look & I can see out of it much more than I was even expecting. I did order the one that has the middle of it open. It allows my high brake light to be seen & I can see out of that camera as well. Check them out on the web. They have all kinds of styles.

I have the Backrack Open Rack on mine. It clears the brake light just fine. Plenty sturdy too. Amazon had them on sale recently

Have a BackRack on my 2019 2500. Looks ok and doesn't seem to bother the rear light; but I don't have a camera there, only the one on the tailgate.
Needed a place to mount the amber strobes and antenna, rather than drilling into the cab. Decent fit and does the job. It's a work truck so doesn't need to be pretty.
