My 2011 has 47000 miles and exhaust is quite. No Tick.

I want to do the Shorty Headers and am assuming I have no broken bolts. I would love to do it myself but if there is a broken bolt I can not have my garage ******* while trying to get it out. I do not have a welder to do the nut trick, so my question is:

Has anybody heard of the bolt breaking by just taking them off. From being weakend or whatever?

Or can I be confident if none are broken that they should all come out and not break from just loosening them up and backing them out.

I had one that snapped as I undid it
One YouTube video suggested to heat each bolt/stud up red hot, just before it was loosened- Used a MAPP gas torch, nothing too serious
Hammered it with penetrating oil the evening before
No trouble with any snapping afterwards

I had a broken bolt when I did my headers on my old truck. I just drilled and extracted it, wasn't to bad. Just go slow. The others I blasted the night before with PB and they came out like butter. Shortys will be no problem.

+1 on the hand tools. Go very slowly to break the torque first. Then just take your time going slowly.

I just had JBA shorties put on in January. I didn't have any broken bolts and when he pulled my manifolds off, he was able to get all the bolts out without breaking any. He's done many Hemi exhaust manifold bolts and said hand tools are the way to go for backing the OEM bolts out.

I love them. The guy that put them in had 0 fitment issues and I've had no leaks. They're the silver ceramic coated ones. The motor seems to rev a little easier and the exhaust has nice growl to it now.

I also went with Stage 8 bolts. Should never have broken bolt problems again.

Have you had any bolts/nuts loosen on you? I've heard that is a typical problem from my son who has had shorties and long pipes in the past.
