I have a 2008 1500 Mega Cab 4x4 with 5.7 and cia. Truck is lifted 6".
I can't find any long tube headers for this application. Summit says the JBA's will work, but JBA tech says no. Looking at the situation under the hood myself, and it doesn't look promising. I'm wondering if anyone has successfully installed long tubes on this model or a 2500 equivalent? If you have please explain what difficulty's/hurdles you came across and how you overcame them.
Secondary option; did you make srt8 manifolds work? Again difficulty's/hurdles, solutions?
