headers

im thinking about putting pace setter headers on my 1999 5.2l sport found some realy cheap brand new does it sound like a good idea or waste of time?

Headers are good along with the other mod you have and if you don't have the other it's a good start. I have now my intake, magnaflow muffler, y-pipe and now i'm waiting on headers myself so with that your truck will get better performance. The pacesetters are some pretty good headers anyway.

Im about to pick up those cheap ass ebay headers for 135 shipped. Cant beat that even if they do leak at the Y pipe, ill just get them welded...

I had a set of Pacesetter hears on my truck an they rusted out within a year around where the 4 pipes went into the collecter at the end. I wouldn't recommend them. Thats just me. I went with Gibson headers for my next set and havent had any problems with them.

make sure you get the ceramic coated ones. then you wont have rusting issues. they are like 350$ shipped to your house on amazon.

I have painted pacesetters and have had them for 4 years. Here in AR rains alot but no snow or salt. I love mine
