Headlight adjuster broke? I need help!

So I was trying to aim my headlights higher tonight, driver side went good, then when I moved to the pass side I noticed as I turned the adjuster, it wasn't moving up like the driver side did. It would go back down and then back up to where it was before but never any higher.

So after playing with it for a few mins it seems like the adjuster broke all of a sudden and the light is pointed as far down as it will go, and I can't get it aimed back up...

I'm really hoping something just popped loose inside that I can reconnect and aim the light where it needs to be.

Has anybody had this problem? Suggestions and thoughts are HIGHLY appreciated!

dual or quad?

if something popped loose, it may be really tough to snap it back in....

Can you rock the bowl? Does it move?

the thing the projector is mounted to. If you remove the light, can you hear that floppin' around in there? trying to see if it came off the mount.

Shoot, I had the light out about 2 hours ago trying to see why it wouldn't adjust, I didn't shake it or anything so idk if it rattled around. Is it an easy fix if it came off?

I'm hoping I don't have to buy a new housing and swap everything over...

If it popped off, the light has be be opened to get it back on. Hopefully it didn't snap the ball and socket connector in the light, that would be a royal bite!

Yeah I figured I'd have to pop the light open this weekend either way.

Any idea why this light wouldn't aim as high as the driver side? Driver side went up to the sky, this one just kinda pointed out far enough to see, but not high enough...

I forgot to mention, I did hit the headlight with my hand a few times RIGHT before it fell down.. I NOW realized that was a stupid idea, but does that tell you if it popped off or not?

doesn't really tell me if it popped off. Sorry man.

no clue why it did what it did - its odd to have a variance like that.

I did the same thing I think this past weekend. Right side is the good side adjusts all the way up and down but the left is aiming at the ground. I smacked my lens and had a bit of trouble getn the lens to sit back in properly I priced out the assembly at my local dealership on Monday cause that's what there saying I need nothing about the bowl. I thank u jj for the advice. I too will b checking this weekend and hope the best for both of us.

If its not the bowl?? What will it take to fix or replace it. I was told the whole light assembly.

it sounds like it just popped off the adjuster, which is fun to fix.......hard to pull that bowl back on the ball when its popped off - but its doable. easier if you remove the adjuster, put some ky on the end and shove it in. giggity
