I removed my passenger side headlight yesterday. It doesnt seem that the clip in the back is holding this one as tight as it was before or as tight as the driver side. Is this normal after the intial removal or did I miss the clip by a little bit?
Thanks!

Sorry , I've never removed one from my 4th Gen , but I plan to in the future for retro quads .

I was wondering how difficult are they to remove ? What else if anything must be removed also to get them out ?
Thanks for anyone's response ! 2014 QC 4X4 , 5.7L

In order 4 plastic clip on piece covering top of radiator, 4 10mm bolts holding grill, Remove grill, Pop open chute on inner fender well, push up on plastic tab, remove 2 10mm bolts on front of headlight, remove headlight.

OP, Likely you misses the clip slightly. Had mine out repeatedly for my lighting mod and they lock in tight when correct.

RLK, easy to remove... you don't have to remove the grill like some say, it just makes the bottom front bold easier to access. two bolts and the clip behind the trap door in the fender well.

Edit. Sorry REB, didn't see your post.

This is how I do it. I've had my stupid projectors out several times for various reasons. I even use blue painter's tape on the bumper when taking the grill off because I have a black truck and if I even look at it wrong it gets a damn scratch. I know some will use a very long extension to get that bottom bolt out to avoid taking the grill off, but I like to get the headlight housing back on there perfectly so I take the grill off....there's play in the housing bolt holes. Like someone said, you're most likely just missing the ball socket with the clip. I've done that a couple times.

For the record, this is the DUMBEST process to change a headlight bulb I've ever had to do.

What I didn't catch is there is a groove in the clip that has to align with the latch you pull down. What A freaking PITA
