Hello everyone,

I have a question about the headlights in my new Ram. My truck is a 2019 Ram Classic (old body style). I traded in a 2018 Wrangler JL Unlimited on this truck. My Wrangler had LED headlights in it that were really bright and lit up the road really well. I gotta say, I’m a little disappointed in the headlights on my Ram. They don’t seem to throw a lot of light, even with the high beams on. Any suggestions on lighting upgrades for my truck? I don’t mind investing the money if there’s a notable difference. I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions. Thanks everyone and have a great evening!

I went with Vanquish Auto LED's. Excellent service and products. They were plug and play. Much brighter than the factory halogens. Very happy with them.

I loved my 4th gen Big Horn butt the halogen lights sucked.

5th gen LEDs are much better.

Good Luck!

Upgraded my quad reflectors w/ Diode Dynamics SL1 LED highs & lows earlier this year. All who have ridden in my truck at night have commented on how impressive the lighting is & I get zero high beam flashes from oncoming traffic.

Here’s a pic of only the fogs on. The LEDs are amazing

Thanks for all of the information everyone. Is it worth spending the money for aftermarket replacement headlight assemblies? I’m assuming my headlights are just halogen style right now. I can see the bulb when I look through the lens, no rounded glass lens in front of the bulb or anything special.

Do the H11 to H9 change over, you will be pleased with that light output.
No need to spend money on inferior housings.
