good afternoon all
I am trying to figure out why my upgraded LED headlights are flickering and how to fix it.
I hit a deer and broke the headlight assembly. replaced the stock halogen bulbs/ assembly with the TYC 20939270 and TYC 20939170 from ROCK Auto; it said on their site that they are a direct replacement for the OEM headlight assembly. realized when they arrived that I would need a wiring harness adapter. After some digging, I found the 2019-2024 Dodge Ram 1500 OEM halogen headlight to led conversion harness from Ess K Customs. When I ordered the kit, it told me it was compatible with TYC headlights.
But after installation, the headlights work fine, but when my headlights are on, the daytime LED lights flicker. When I turn the headlights off, the LED lights stop flickering and work fine. its only when the headlights are on that the flickering is constant.
Any advice would be appreciated
