Headlights won’t turn off

I have a 2022 Ram 1500 with halogen headlights. I tried upgrading my headlights with some Spider headlights off EBay which the description say was compatible with my truck. Upon installation, the low beam headlights stayed on constantly no matter what position the switch was in. I returned the lights and bought a pair of Akkon lights off Amazon and I encountered the same problem. The low beam cannot be turned off. Has anyone encountered this problem, or has any solution to this problem. I really don’t want to rip apart the whole front to do another replacement.

Check your settings. Are your day time running lights on?

Yes, my daytime running lights are 2 strips on the top and bottom of the lights. They are working properly.

I don’t have an answer for you, but can you tell me how you got to the low beams? I replaced my high beams with Led bulbs from Autozone. They’re great, but I’m not able to get to the low beams. I suspect I need to take things apart, but can you tell me how you did it? I’ve got a 2022 bighorn crew cab too.

Have you been able to resolve this problem? I have the same problem but it is only after I plugged in trailer lights. Hopefully its a simple fix, thanks.

There is a separate setting in the infotainment controls for daytime lights.... It might be there.
