Name is David and I'm new to the board and Hemi. Don't own yet but have ordered an '18 Regular cab with 8 foot bed 6.4 hemi and 4.10 gears 4x4. Told 8 - 10 weeks for build and delivery. I do have a VON & VIN but can't get into the website that tracks the build. Anyway new to hemi but a Ram man since 2001and wondering on the new build trucks will all "recall" & "tech bulletins" be preformed at the factory prior to delivery? Also is there a website that works to track the build ? Thanks and I'll be a regular here as I'm sure I'll have questions.

Welcome, surprised they are still building 18's.

Sounds like a beast with the larger Hemi and gears. When you take delivery there should be no updates or recalls.

First off, welcome. Now, I had dealers looking for that exact truck for weeks. They were unable to find one. They did find a Tradesman 2500 CC 6.4 with 4.10s. Gave it to me for the price of the SC. I took it. Longest truck Ram makes. You will like it.

Thanks all now the waiting begins. Wish I could have ordered the 6 speed manual but only comes with the 6.7. Not a problem auto easier to drive in heavy traffic.

Just got word my 2500 has been build and awaiting transportation from Mexico. Dealer tells me maybe middle August, Shipping to Detroit.

Youll love it, and it does shimmy down the road pretty well with the 4:10 and 6.4. Especially if you keep the tire size stock.

My 2018 Laramie CC with 6.4 and 4:10s moves pretty well even with Toyo M/T 35's. Rocket ship from gas station to gas station!.....I knew what I was getting into though.
