I will be purchasing a 2019 Ram 1500 classic Warlock in the next couple of days. I wanted to introduce myself and say thank you in advance for possible newb questions since I have always been a ford guy. Ford has gotten way out of my budget and this Ram became available to me from a good friend. The warlock has the 5.7 in it with a tow package. Other than that, not many bells and whistles but it’s going to be a work truck for the most part. This site is great to learn about these trucks so again I thank you. Is the warlock considered a 4th gen or 5th gen? Other than a tonneau cover that I have on order, any other upgrades/updates you guys recommend?

Welcome!

I am also coming from a Ford truck, traded in my '20 XLT for my new '22 Laramie 5.7. The comfort level is night and day, and I pulled the trigger due to the ongoing Coyote issues-constantly using oil and the engine was starting to already sound like a diesel thanks to the Ford acknowledged top end problems, and I didn't feel like risking value by holding on to something that may have some more serious problems down the line.

Classic Warlock is 4th Gen, or so I have read, LOL. "classic being 4th gen designation".
