I suppose I should have introduced myself when I joined (two weeks ago). I've been friends with Rubberfrog for almost two years and he suggested that I check out this site. I joined and it seems like a great site with a lot of good information. Trup has been helpful with my lowering issues and we've been PM'ing back and forth over that.
I have 2005 Ram Daytona which I purchased used in Dec. of 2008 with 29,000 miles on it. The previous owner decided to remove the wing (where that got to is still unknown) and the Daytona decal. I saw the truck and fell in love with the color. I have spent the last two years getting dents out, finding and replacing the wing and doing a lot of custom cosmetic additions. Included are the Daytona stripe and gas filler door decal was a one-off design which actually has a metal layer so that when the sun hits, it glows! I have paint matching powder-coated valve covers and a custom painted Vararam cold air intake. My next project is in the hands of my decal guy as I submitted my design to bring the 'waving checkered flag' to the hood. Timeline is April so I'm looking forward to that.
My wife and I are both Mopar people (even though she just ordered a new 2011 Camaro ?!?) and we enjoy All-Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle Pa. as well as other local car shows during the summer/fall months. I look forward to meeting and making new friends here!
